Nolita House, NoLita

Nolita House is by far my favorite neighborhood brunch spot. It’s always my go-to place when guests are in town, and this weekend my sisters got the royal treatment.

We ordered a french toast for the table, and were disappointed to find out they’ve changed it. Before, I proclaimed it my favorite in the city; now I’ll do without.

But that’s okay, it’s already tough enough deciding what to order. So far the eggs florentine and the huevos rancheros are my favorite dishes. The fries are also to die for, seasoned just right and not fried to a full crisp, which I normally don’t like, but for some reason here it’s heaven. What’s more, there’s live bluegrass and a free mimosa. See you there next Sunday?

Munching my way through the Big Apple and around the world.

Always in favor of extraordinary flavor versus saving a few calories, I’m constantly seeking the best restaurants, recipes, and random little food items. This blog chronicles my findings, most of which are located in New York City, the foodie heaven I am fortunate to call home.

If you think of food as a life source and not a love affair, well my friend, you are missing out.
